Hey there!

I'm Rebekah, and I'm a photographer in Maryland/greater DC area. I love what I do and would be ecstatic to use my favorite form of art to serve you!

I started taking photos when I was around 12 years old, just for fun and with my friends as my models, of course. What started out as my favorite pass time and hobby turned into a job that I love. 

If you have ever talked to someone who really loves their job, you can tell by their tone of voice and the way their eyes light up? That right there is real love for what you do. I have a similar feeling when I talk about and practice photography. There is a "photography high" that I experience when I get into my "zone" and am being inspired. Thoughts, images and ideas all are running through my head and I feel elevated in a way that doesn't happening in any other area of my life. I think that is why I kept pursing photography as a 12 year-old, and why I keep pursuing and striving to be better at it. I use this drive every day to become a better photographer.

While I enjoy photography more than most things, there are a few pastimes that follow as close second. Reading historical fiction, a good Starbucks drink, going and seeing new places, and Netflix are all important parts of my life. But more important, even than photography, is Jesus. He saved me from my impending doom and now I want to please Him in every aspect of my life.
